Terms of Service

Welcome to Gamifo. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Gamifo platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access the Service.
1. Account Creation and Security
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Account Responsibility
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Identity
You may choose a unique gamertag/username, but we reserve the right to reclaim or force forfeiture of any username that infringes on a trademark, is deliberately confusing, or impersonates another individual or entity.
2. User-Generated Content and Conduct
Gamifo allows you to log game histories, write reviews, assign community verdicts, post profile wall comments, and reply to or rate other users’ content (via “GG up/down” votes).
Ownership
You retain ownership of the text and content you submit to Gamifo. However, by posting content, you grant Gamifo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display that content across the platform.
Prohibited Behavior
You agree not to post content or engage in behavior that:
- Is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or threatening to other users.
- Consists of automated spam, commercial advertising, or script-driven data manipulation (such as bot-reviewing games to manipulate Leaderboard Ranks).
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
3. Platform Administration and Moderation
To protect the integrity of our community and ranking systems, Gamifo administrators and moderators reserve absolute authority over platform content.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to hide, modify, or permanently delete any review, comment, or profile data at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
Account Penalties
If you violate these Terms, Gamifo may issue warnings, restrict your ability to comment, implement a Mute/Shadowban (restricting your content’s visibility to other users without notifying you), or temporarily or permanently terminate your account.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
“As-Is” Service
Gamifo is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from bugs or data loss.
Game Metadata
Game titles, poster images, and external metadata may be pulled from third-party APIs (such as IGDB/Twitch). Gamifo is not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or downtime caused by third-party data providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gamifo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
5. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates are posted constitutes explicit acceptance of the revised Terms.
